Even a Newborn

Like I said, I have tons of inspiration for big awesome pictures, but no time to draw em. So alls I can draw is stuff I must (i.e. drawing class assignments and pieces for the charity auction) and little silly fanart doodles to burn off stress.

This is one of the latter. A quick lil cute lil Nightstar baby pic, in the cartoon context (that is, among other things, never-take-off-the-superhero-costumes-ness) I designed a new, more motherly outfit for Starfire, and tried to make her look older. Also inspired by an illustration from The Light Princess by George MacDonald illustrated by Craig Yoe.

And if you want to fuss about a certain Teen-Titans-cartoon-version-of-the-Nightwing-costume feature omission, Of course Nightwing took off those metal gauntlet things to hold the baby, can you imagine how hard and cold and uncomfortable those would be to be held by as a baby with the baby softskin? And Nightwing is a the conscientious daddy, who would not hold the his dear baby daughter with such things uncomfortable to be held by to the baby softskin!
