Probably because you see holly more often used as Christmas decoration, but you hear about mistletoe more often in songs and such... so they figured that must be it? I can't believe I never noticed the smell enough to be able to call it to mind... I shall have to take particular notice this year!
Ahh, I see. Well, the main reason I noticed the smell is because...Yankee Candle's scented candles with mistletoe as a main scent do not smell good at all in my opinion. And their scents are spot-on, so yeah.
I just had this conversation with somebody in my art class last week--I was drawing some mistletoe for some picture, and then one of the art threes told me I should 'add some red berries so it looks more like mistletoe'. lolwhat
