^_^ It was St. Valentine's Day last night, and I wanted to try out my pastel paper, so I thought I'd draw some nice sweet warm Kataang, and it just snowballed from there. Since it was a one-sitting job, don't be too hard on me. ^^

I love a good romance in stories... these are pretty much my favourite visual-story pairings at present. In the order I drew them:

Kataang: I really wanted to emphasize Aang's kid enthusiasm; what I like about Kataang is the fun kid cuteness and I think it often gets neglected in the fanart. Aang's outifit is randomly made up.

Maiko: I really really like the poses of this one, but the angle on Mai's face was KILLER to get right. I am happy with it in the end.

HimawariWatanuki: (Himanuki? Watawari?) In tribute to my just joining this club: #Watanuki-x-Himawari, and they are sweet. Posed a challenge to the colour scheme with their heavily black and white designs.

RobStar: Really like the coloring on Starfire, not sure about her expression... :/

Nysric: And in the centre, (and the most obscure XD) my current ultimate OTP. The coolest thing is I didn't mean them to be kissing at first, just with foreheads together, you know? But I drew his profile and her eye and sat back and looked at it and what do you know, they were kissing! So they did it, not me. And this is the first time I've been satisfied with how I drew Nyssa's skirt.

Verdict on the paper: nice tone and erasability, but I'm not sure about that diamond texture...
